These Dry Bones Shall Live! Plus…$10.00 OFF!
That is the message I received when I began contemplating first taking down my website late 2017. It wasn’t to end the business, it was because I just didn’t know what direction to go next and I felt like what was up wasn’t representing what the business is about. Have you ever pressed into a vision, a dream even a project at work or in your ministry and things were going so well in the beginning, then suddenly you feel like you are rowing a boat in a vast ocean and not moving? Well, that was me with The Fabric Beautique®. I knew I was supposed to be in the boat, but it seemed I somehow got lost and found myself in the middle of nowhere. Reading about the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37-1-14, NKJV really resonated with me. If you are feeling as if you are in a “dry place”, I would encourage you to read those verses, it truly blessed me.
For The Fabric Beautique®, that meant change needed to happen, but I wasn’t quite sure what or how that change needed to happen. In early 2017, I attended my second Dream Build Success conference as an attendee. I distinctively remember one of the main speakers saying “God want you to get back to the blueprint of why you started your business”. At the time, it resonated with me, I felt it deep in my spirit, but I wasn’t sure what that meant, so I kept plugging away and talking with God. Well, one day, I received an answer, “shut down the website, and execute the vision I gave you permission to walk in”…well, soon thereafter the website went down, except for a landing page.
I took the much needed to time to pray and ask God for specific instructions on what this meant. Here are a few of God’s responses:
- Website needs to be given a fresh face lift, easier navigation;
- Launch the Prayer Scarves
- Create the Prayer Journal Kit
- Create the Children’s Prayer Journal Kit
This was huge for me because this was the reason The Fabric Beautique® was created in the first place. The Prayer Scarves was supposed to be the third product I launched. These scarves are symbolic of how I feel when I know God has me and that no matter what I go through, I know I can go to him and he will answer me. I’ve only talked about these scarves to three MAYBE four people; I knew how profound and special these scarves would be. I launched the Prayer Scarves based on scriptures I heard several years ago when I was going through a rough time. I remember writing it down and not until this year in 2018, several years later had I finally acted on that prompting from the Holy Spirit.
The Prayer Journal kits for the adults and children are because of how I spend time with God and how I would like to encourage parents and family to teach their children how to spend time with God. As an adult I have my Prayer Journal, my writing tool, colored flags and prayer lists. So, what better way to package the new Prayer Journal with all of my favorite items. Very easy to use and it’s all in one place. For the children, as busy parents I know it’s easier to have your child’s journal, tablet, paper all in one case and our new Children’s Prayer Journal Kit fits the bill.
Lastly, the website has a clean and fresh look! I worked with the same illustrator I worked with for the Prayer Scarves to bring my vision to life and create new social media branding and information. I launched this all the week I was a vendor at the Dream Build Success Conference, July 14, 2018 and it was a success! I truly hope you like the new website and product offerings. Please take time to navigate through the website and share it with someone. As a token of my appreciation, I’m offering $10.00 off your purchase from anything on the website until September 30, 2018, just use code DBSCONFERENCE18 at checkout!
Yes, what I thought was dry and dead is a live and God is breathing life into this new season of The Fabric Beautique®. I hope you will continue to come along for the journey. Over the next several weeks I will be sharing on the blog various aspects of each product, as well as some new things coming down the pipeline.
Have A Blessed Day!
