Prayers of Assurance! God's Promises NEVER Fail!
How are you planning to start your week? We wanted to remind you of God's promises and one thing God NEVER does and that's lie. The Bible is full of God's promises and even though at times it seems we are waiting, waiting and WAITING. Delay does not mean denial and that's where God's word and his promises remind us of the assurance we can have when we pray.
There are a couple of scriptures we wanted to share. Not only that, we wanted to share true application of these particular scriptures. Sometimes life can seem overwhelming or that things are not happening the way we think they should. Other times we are wondering "is God listening, I've been praying about this thing for a long time". Rest assured, God hears your prayers and he is listening. Let's focus on two scriptures specifically below:
Isaiah 54:17
When it feels like the walls are closing in and you feel like each day you have to setup a new plan to get through the day. Stand on "No WEAPON formed against you shall prosper". Think about that. What does those words mean to you? Have you taken time to break down this scripture in your study bible or bible commentary? I urge you to do that today.
1 Corinthians 2:13-16
When that doubt sets in and you feel like you begin to waiver between what God said and what you see. Speak out loud "I HAVE the mind of Christ and I'm seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus". It's easy to take our eyes off the mark and begin to allow what seems like a fail, a delay, a denial to distract us from what God promised us. Again, pull out your study bible and bible commentary. Apply it to your specific situation.
We share in this Youtube Video, (or click on picture above) application of these scriptures and encourage you to NOT take your eye off the mark and what God has already told you.
We Pray these scriptures give you some encouragement to spend more time in God’s word and studying what God’s promises mean in your situation.
